Jam-E-Shifa
Organization is providing mobile health services to
refugees repatriating from Chaman (Pakistan) back to
Zaree Dashat Afghanistan.
The objective of the programme was to ensure the
repartition in good health conditions. Minimizing
any serious health hazards during traveling is our
primary goal to ensure smooth repatriation
.Traveling in poor health condition could result in
the loss of the life or other serious problems and
this could cause various problems to the
accompanying people during repatriation as well
.
Primary
Education:
Jam-E-Shafa Organization is running educational
program by having primary school. This center was
established in year 1997 for the poor Afghan
Refugees and local community Children at
Jam-e-Shafa hospital. This center is running with
the contribution of Jam-e-Shafa Organization.120
children are getting education at this center free
of cost.
Food and
Other Items Distribution:
Jam-e-Shafa
Organization (JSO) is distributing food and other
items to urban refugees and poor local community.
Thousands of poor especially widows and orphans are
benefited by this programme, hundreds of wheel
chairs were provided to the handicaps, most of them
were affected by the Afghan War. Apart from medical
services the organization is involving the general
services such as distribution of food and nonfood
items, to the vulnerable Afghan refugees in local
community.2150
families have been provided with these facilities
,135 wheelchairs to the handicap have been
distributions wheat is provided to Widows.
Achievements during last Year 2006:

A
Seminar was held on 24th April,2006.The Hon'able
Minister of Health Hafiz Hamdullah was the chief
guest, While Ms.Rahila Durani MPA Balochistan
and Chief of UNHCR Mr.Asaba Shunichario
were guests of Honor on this occasion. More than
450 participants attended the seminar from
various field of life. All heads of NGOs
department of Bolan Medical Collage, Fatima
Jinnah General Chest Hospital members from
community also attended the seminar.

A
free TB medical camp was conducted on 18th May
2006 at Band Meta Chowk. Purpose of the camp was
to aware the community and improved case
detection.

On
16th December 2006 Distribution of non food
items among the Afghan refugees and poor local
communtiy.500 hundred families were benefited.

Listed 9740 Afghan refugees families comprised
of 55700 individuals for issuance of POR Card
Issued by Govt Of Pakistan.
