The earth quake brought destruction to some parts of Pakistan .As Muslims we should thank Allah for serving us .Here is a lesson to all the Muslims living in Pakistan that this powerful earth could have struck us .Allah saved us not because we are his favorites but because He wants us to be good Muslims .The earth quake was just a little sign of Allah ‘ s power and it reveals that we are nothing 
in front of Him .We should thank Him and as good Muslims ,should fulfill our responsibilities so that Allah helps and forgive us here and hereafter
As Jam-e-Shafa Organization is working in Health sector for the last 15 years for the urban Afghan refugees and poor local community in Quetta Pakistan and having experience in the relief activity for Afghan refugees.

As we came to know about the calamity of earth quake in southern Pakistan we commenced initiatives for relief activities such as:
- Jam-e-Shafa Organization staff devoted one week salary to the earth quake victims.
- Dispatched surgical related items such as Bandage, Syringe, Drips, Cotton and Antiseptics.
- Jam-e-Shafa Organization set off its 2 medical teams along with 2 ambulances on 31st October, 05 in the affected area of Muzaffar Abad for rescue operation and relief assistance to the earth quake victims. Medical teams were consist of one Doctor two paramedic staff served day and night provided medical treatment for the period of three months at Muzaffar Abad Azad Jamu Kashmir.
