In this section average 50 to 60 children per day are monitored. For growth monitoring most of them or malnourished. For these children we provide milk and food supplements twice a week. Severely malnourished and high-risk patients are referred to other hospitals like Bolan medical complex hospital (BMCH) for management.Mothers counseling is also done for regular follow-up and management. LHV's in the community are motivating mothers for growth monitoring of their children on regular basis and educate them on the importance of Growth Monitoring.
PD/Hearth Program (Supplementary Feeding):
Those who are under weight they are enrolled for PD/Hearth (Positive Deviated/ Hearth) program .In this program mothers receive 12 days training on nutrition and the children get food and nutrients for the specified period.
